I am about an hour from Atlantic Beach.
We escaped with (so far) with massive rain and wind.

Some of my girlfriends family are in Emerald Isle, we were just there in July...Fucking love it there man, I eventually would like to move there soon...

Emerald Isle is the closest beach,it is great there.
Tip:Wait till Hurricane season is over-people sell there houses more often and cheaper.(but get an independant house inspector)
