The Creeper from "Jeepers Creepers" was a good one...until they made a hash of him in part 2...but that character had a lot of shades in part 1...if there's a part 3 of that movie I d like that character to improve more if they can...but the Creeper is scary...

I hope you are being a smart ass. If you don't know who that guy is, then you must be waaaaay out of the loop. He's everywhere you look for the past two years so I hope you were just clowning around. (But with no little faces, it's hard to tell.)

:p

(See? I used a face sticking his toungue out at you so you can tell that I'm giving you shit.)

Gah! There's too many horror anti-heroes/villains/icons as it is - once upon a time there was only Fred, Jason & Mike - which was fine - but now the franchise bandwagon has made false idols out of all sorts of wet pansies doing their "boo! hiss!" pantomime acts to get the high school kids to put their hands in their pockets for the next instalment.

For heroes, you're better off reading comics - and watching less predictable horror while yer at it.

The best horror-hero of late was Death itself, from the Final Destination films.

true - once the unknown is known .. it loses its potency..
I always use the Hellraiser sequals for the best example of this ..

I know exactly what you mean .. once people worship these guys as either silent or wisecracking anti-heros ... it becomes a cartoon .. or wrestling ..
