Personally, I think piercings aren't original, they don't make you unique. Piercings aren't "art".

They are only for people who wanna look different and be different. They aren't creative. Which is fine if you wanna be different but it doesn't mean that you are.

once upon time I had several piercings. but it kinda got to the point where less and less people I liked had piercings, and more and more jocks and rednecks had them. I took all mine out. thankfully I haven't gotten tired of any of my tattoos

ya know, some people have piercings because *gasp* they like them. ;) Definately not everyone's cup of tea though, some people like tattoos and piercings others like the "cleaner" look.
