its where the glue holding the 2 discs together is contaminated - as far as lasers go.
is it the same for DVDs ?

anyway .. just as well shanksie .. toss all 3 and pick up a copy of manhunter .. and you're better off !

na normal dvds can get it too.... it's the wrong ink they use to print the labels on the outer surface, reacts with the glue that binds the disc layers together, and when it spins in the player the velocity causes the layers to come appart and the outer ones crack away.

Dbl feature

From time to time, I like watching an original then a remake back to back to compare.

Nosferatu and Shadow of the Vampire are an interesting match-up.

The Thing (W/James Arness) and The Thing (W/ Kurt Russell)

Dracula(Lugosi), Dracula(Lee), Dracula(Palance), Dracula(Langella)...I think you get the idea.

Also, as a triple feature, I like watching; Frankenstein, The Wolfman, then Frankenstein Meets The Wolfman.

How about a Fulci double feature, The Beyond and Zombie

Or a WWII double feature, The Longest Day and Saving Private Ryan.

I do that sometimes, too. Well, once. House on Haunted Hill. I should do that with Time Machine, too....I have both versions....

My favorite double features so far=

Wild At Heart/True Romance

Dead & Buried/Jacobs Ladder

Scream/April Fool's Day

TCM(Original)/Halloween

Carlito's Way/Scarface

Day Of The Dead/Return Of The Living Dead

Eraserhead/The Lost Highway

Suspiria/Snow White & The 7 Dwarves(Animated)

Misery/The Shining

Check them out!
