generaly though...I hate rap...but if something can make me laugh, I'll give it a chance

When it started i liked NWA, Run DMC, Public Enemy ..

then everything started getting samey.

I do like the bands like De La Soul, Black Sheep, Jungle Brothers, Tribe called Quest, Digible Planets, Fugees (Fugees solo projects)

The more jazzy thinking mans rap.

I really like Trip Hop... its filmic .. appeals to my soundtrack lovin sensibilities.

I also have experimented with a lot of other stuff .. i just bought 208 12" rap singles from a thrift shop i frequent ..a lot of def jam artists and others .. more hard core.

Some of it is ok for a laugh but most of it is repetative and mundane.
