does anyone feel that explaining how fred krueger became freddy would spoil the persona of the character we know today or do u think it would strengthen the whole storyline??

and remember, it was robert englunds idea for the prequel, i think to be fair to the series, wes craven should direct it, altho i don't think he will.

o ya it will be great.:rolleyes: . because we all know how great all the other prequeals have been. like say....the star wars prequels. thetrouble with prequels is that the endings are locked in. ya gonna be sitting through the whole movie with the knowledge of whats gonna happen at the end, with absolutly no change of a weird twist at the end. prequels suck. they're a bomb of a idea. if you don't believe me just ask george lucas. hahahahahahahahahahahaha

I think it'd be a great movie to watch. I agree it needs to be done fast because of aging. haha

o come on everybody. yes i agree it could be good. i repeat could. but lets all not forget how dumb the rest of them were. when i saw the first one (which is the only one i liked) i was like alrught cant wait to see the rest. i saw the rest and they were all the dumbest "scary movies" i have ever seen in my life. which hasnt been very long but is long enough to know that they are dumb. yes it could be a good movie i do see potentail in it. and yes i would go see it. only cause ive wasted very valuable hours watching the other ones. so why not waste more on seeing this movie.

I really don't think a prequel would be so bad. It wouldn't really be much of a horror as much as it would be a thriller type of movie.
