I agree with you. It wasn't great considering all the hype (especially the hype among my friends) but throwing everything that I heard out the window, it was good. I wouldn't suggest it as a horror movie, but as a comedy.

The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly- ...... 5/10

Sorry.... I just don't like westerns. I want to like it, and I damn well respect this film for what it is, but i don't like it. ALKY- Don't kill me. First it was the Departed and now this.... Lol.

Nothing to laugh about. You don't like good films. Makes me sad, actually.

No Country For Old Men

Not my favorite Cohen Brothers film, but I'd put it in their top 5, which makes it better than most other films out there regardless of genre. I loved the ending and how they play with audience expectations throughout the film. Nothing is over-explained, nothing is even remotely over-stated. Subtle, beautiful film making that left my head spinning, but was somewhat emotionally unfulfilling. Posher would hate it.

8.5/10

I'll probably like this one even better upon repeated viewings.

That's not fair... I like plenty of films that are considered *good* Just because you disagree doesn't mean my taste sucks.

just saw this about an hour ago.
damn good film, intense as hell. great performances and all around beautiful film making. i'd give it a 8/10

***SPOILER***

Didnt give the audience what it wanted.....on purpose though. good guy dies, bad guy lives and kills good guy's wife. harsh. i was a bit disapointed, because i really liked Josh Brolin's character.
