And he avoids 14 days of Biden debates. Bravo..

My first thought when they announced this was that he's faking it to get out of the next debate

Well, isn't that cute.

You've softened over the years, Dolly. Like people tend to do when they get older.

Same. I was thinking about this place today and decided to wander over; haven't even signed in for a couple years, I think. Getting more nostalgic than I expected scootin' around these pages, goddamnit.

Also, it’s really fucking cool to see you (and Angra, and Hammer, and Elvis, and I think I even saw Urge posted somewhat recently?!) around.

I think taxidermy should be replaced by 3D captured holography.
Gonna look more like it should, and you don't forever need to have your dead animal/s on display.
You could just have a projection unit that could store until you turned it on to show images of your animal from any angle, or even the animal and yourself/others.
Images/dimensions to be stored on cloud service/s in the event of unit loss/breakage.

I feel like taxidermy is very yesterday. Nothing wrong with it but todays world tends to look at it as pretty archaic and "weird". Time for something new there.

Hey I just got two cats, so I'd get this service in a heartbeat.

LOL I'm concepts only.
I lack the technology or knowing where to start.
I guess maybe I can trademark it, but then someone would just call it something else.

roshiq 11-09-2020 06:09 AM

Thanks guys! It's really good be back here.

Doing just fine, family is good, my little daughter turned 6 this year! So far we've able to keep ourselves safe from the pandemic. Let's hope for the best for coming days.

And in the midst of everything, still doing my best to keep stay close to the genre-offerings. ::big grin::

How you're all doing?

Angra 11-09-2020 07:21 AM

Roshiq, what made you stay away for so long?

It was Donald Trump, wasn't it?

You never know. It could be this generation's Buffy. I bet a lot of the people who watch it will have never seen the original Lost Boys.

Neither would they know any of the actors or ever heard of the director, of the new movie that is. No, this is gonna be garbage.

I have been miserable lately, I had to transfer hospitals to get away from my ex-boyfriend bothering me. It's not so bad though, once I get over the transition period ill be OK. I've come back to watching horror to distract me in the meantime ::devil::

Who's all still around??

Bloof 03-22-2021 03:33 AM

Bummer about the boyfriend and having to switch hospitals. Most of us are here except for anglewitch.

I would have thought so. They probably have to pass medical exams but yeah, quite the risk they're taking.

My job has finally reduced me to tears. I need a good book to read, any suggestions? I'm asking specifically for horror, of course.

Who Goes There? an excellent novella written by John W. Campbell Jr. "In 1973, the story was voted by the Science Fiction Writers of America as one of the stories representing the "most influential, important, and memorable science fiction that has ever been written"." It's horror sci-fi. Was basis for John Carpenter's The Thing

Ohhh that sounds good Sculpt, thank you. 🥰 I'm going 2 check it out.

My go-to recommendation is always "They Thirst" by Robert McCammon.

Bloof 04-12-2021 05:29 AM

Manitou or The Pariah both by Graham Masterton

SerialKiller 04-17-2021 11:32 AM

There is this man who works at the hospital. I don't know what his job is, but he doesn't work in the part I work in. Every since I got there he has been annoying. One of my friends says he came in asking if I was married or had children(never 2 both questions.) Last week he told me he keeps candy in his office & he would like for me to come & talk to him & tell him about myself. Its kind of a joke at work how much I like candy, they call me Sandi candy. He then hugged me without my permission he just kinda did it. The next day I was going down the stairs & he was coming up them. He asked me to take my mask off so he could see the rest of my face. I felt annoyed but I pulled it down because I felt like it would get me out of there faster if I did. He makes my skin crawl. I've been told he is married & has children my age. Idk if I'm reading too much into it, or if he's just trying to be nice since I'm new. Thoughts?
