Lost in La Mancha

Damn I wish somebody would give Terry the time and money he needed to make that movie.

The Assassination of Jesse James By the Coward John Ford (2007)

In one year, Casey Affleck will be one of the most popular actors in Hollywood. I guarantee it. The casting in this movie was literally flawless, and it's easily the most stylish film of the year. Brilliant.

American Gangster (2007)

Awesome, awesome, awesome. Pure gangster fun, and almost on par with last year's The Departed. Almost. Russell Crowe and Denzel Washington are smoother than hell. Highly recommended.

Fully agree with you. Washington did splendid job on the role of Frank Lucas. And yeah...there is pure gangster fun but it's not a common action flick. Thus it never drags.

My Belated Halloween movie festival

For the very first time I have been able to see these great classics:

George A. Romero's Night of the living Dead (1968) Color version

http://ia.imdb.com/media/imdb/01/I/63/30/48m.jpg

As a new horror movie freak like me undoubtedly agree that no one could make a such classic presentation and develop this sub-genre like George Romero did almost 40 years ago. Its definitely worth of Horror-Oscar.

Dario Argento's Suspiria (1977)

Purely Chilling atmosphere..brilliant set design..spectacular cinematography and nonetheless, Goblin's excellent scores made this one a true classic and proved what a magnificent director Argento was.

John Carpenter'sHalloween (1978)

After waiting for so many days, YES!! I'm truly feeling very great and lucky to see this classic at last. And now it's clear to me how historically it highly influenced the genre.
