It was that Suspiria poster and an image of the opening cab scene with the colors that got me to finally watch the movie. It was my first Italian horror movie if I remember correctly. That opening scene was surprising.

I can't believe Suspiria beat Predator. But Suspiria is more horror I guess compared to Predator.

Wait, 5 movies left after this round. How will that work?

Also, I wonder if it's gonna be the same 5 movies as last time we had this kind of tournament, about 10 years ago. I think it's close.

You've anticipated my denouement... ::big grin:: you'll see. I did the same thing last time.

The cab scene didn't get me to watch Suspiria for the first time, which was just a few years ago. But the opening cab scene filled my eyes with beauty and wonderment. I was so onboard from that moment on. Loved it.

Also, I just rewatched Predator (just my 2nd viewing since late 80s). It was an action film, and that action wasn't so exciting this time around. It wasnt as good as I remembered. The first time I watched it, I had very low expectations, and the ending surpassed those. I think Commando is a better film. = p
