your name would be total false advertisement if you wasn't ::big grin::

with that said, I'm about to wake and bake to some purple princess. Purple buds are so pretty...

MovieLover12 08-09-2018 12:52 PM

Hey Cheebacheeba, you might not remember me, however, I remember you very, very well!

cheebacheeba 08-10-2018 01:31 AM

You get one free pass. You took it a few posts ago. Behave.

MovieLover12 08-10-2018 03:53 AM

I was exhibiting my free speech.

Morningriser 08-10-2018 09:29 AM

So I went to a bar last night that Vinnie Paul used to frequent often when he was still alive and Alice Cooper's band was putting on a free show. Unfortunately the man himself wasn't there because they are doing a big show tonight downtown and last night was just a one-off private jam session which was awesome. Does anyone remember the guy that won that MTV VJ contest, Jesse Camp? He was there and he introduced the band and he even sung lost in America. It was a real hassle in pain in the ass getting to and from the bar but otherwise I had A blast!

That doesn't extend to abusing and/or openly fantasizing about violent acts towards other members. Not to mention - I've been a member here for over a decade, and I'm a moderator here...after what you said here

I'd be within my rights to show you the door again.
But I haven't - I'd suggest that if all you're here to do is express your dissatisfaction with events of the past and act in a disrespectful way to other members...find something new to post about and move forward, not back.
I remember you clearly.

Respect others - You'll get the same.
What you won't get is warnings, at least until you've worked your way a little bit out of the shitlist/s you're on right now.
I don't really want to have to talk about this any more.
Enjoy your time here. Have a look around. There's better shit to focus on.

Now I'm unsure of what I can and can't say on these boards. Can someone provide a list of banned words.

It's not banned words. From what Cheeba posted it seems like a total disrespect towards other members involving violent threats.

MovieLover12 08-11-2018 09:14 AM

At the same time, others were threatening my life. It was in 2015 when I received those infractions and the Tory government had tried to run my disabled ass into an early grave.

Plus, I'm a Liberal and believe in free speech, and not allowing me to speak freely threatens me. That explains my current opposition towards Cheeba.

But what current event has triggered me to remember the past. BREXIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So leave it in the past

MovieLover12 08-11-2018 09:17 AM

I've added more to the last post, and I fear that one day they'll successfully end my life.

Free speech protects you from being persecuted by the government for things you say, not if you get banned or not on an internet forum

I have no idea who you're talking about and don't really care. Just don't start trouble

MovieLover12 08-11-2018 09:30 AM

You're right, I'd should forget about the past and go and shake myself loose, go wild and live like there's no tomorrow.

coming from someone who has had their fair share of run-ins with admins elsewhere, just let it go. That last comment wasn't even necessary for anything else other than being a sign of defiance and as he even stated, he could ban you if he wanted to but he is a good guy which is a lot more than I can say for some other people that are admins on other message boards. Just take into consideration what he is saying and try not to lash out in such ways.

MovieLover12 08-11-2018 12:23 PM

What do you mean by my having run-ins with moderators elsewhere?

Morningriser 08-11-2018 01:11 PM

I was referring to myself getting in trouble on another message board over something I let my emotions get in the way of and it turned into a whole big thing. This is a place for friendship and to come together with like-minded ideas. We are all here to have a good time and Escape all the bullshit that's going on in our lives otherwise. Let's just try to get along with each other and forget about petty bullshit. This message actually goes for someone else as well who I know is going to read this. But my point is, just heed cheeba's warning and just drop it man.

MovieLover12 08-11-2018 01:13 PM

I'll drop it, and every other principle I hold too.

Morningriser 08-11-2018 01:21 PM

FFS dude that's not what I'm saying at all... You are clearly completely missing the point here. I am just saying you should watch what you say because while you are entitled to free speech, the admins of this message board are here to keep the peace and talking about physically wanting to hurt people, fantasizing or not, would be considered as a trigger to some people who could potentially take that the wrong way thus it is the job of the admins to step in and prevent anything like that from happening by keeping the peace. At this point I have explained myself and I think I have done a decent job explaining cheebas position on this as an admin so at this point everything you were posting is just your attempt at being a smart-ass because I would like to think you are smart enough to understand what you have been told. I am not an admin so that is where I am going to leave it.

MovieLover12 08-11-2018 01:36 PM

I've got your point. Here's a little humour for ya: What do bank robbers and post boxes have in common?

Morningriser 08-11-2018 10:12 PM

Well I was going to go watch BlacKKKlansman tonight but after I got to the Boulder Station Casino where the movie theater was at and bought my ticket, the power went out 6 times while I was waiting to go in and they ended up closing the movie theater and gave me a voucher for a free movie pass. I guess I will try again tomorrow. the first time the power went out it scared me, not because the power went out, but because everyone screamed as if someone was shooting up the place. I'm sure a lot of people around here or still freaked out over Mandalay Bay but it is so sad that it has become Instinct for some people to react that way when something as simple as the power going out happens. It really makes you think about the direction this world is going.

LuvablePsycho 08-12-2018 04:07 AM

If people in developed countries lost all of the things that make their lives so cushy like electricity, plumbing, supermarkets, and modern medicine they would be utterly screwed. We really do take those things for granted.

Bloof 08-12-2018 05:01 AM

Always good to have a contingency plan. I dont so i dont know why im trying to act like a prepper.

Morningriser 08-12-2018 08:48 AM

Well the first time the power went out I took everyone's screams as just instinct or automatically fearing the worst since as I said before, many people in Vegas are still affected by the Mandalay Bay shooting but I also have to take into account then when something like that happens out of the blue there's always going to be someone to Scream by reflex, by fear or in the rare but still Strange Case, just for the sake of doing it, which would explain why every single time the power went out there was a few people that screamed. Those are the weirdos that probably are freaking out thinking their life is over but that first time you could just tell it really freaked people the fuck out because from what I have heard the power doesn't go out around here at casinos especially like that. But to follow up to the point about people not knowing what they would do if we suddenly lost all of our resources we take for granted, I can totally agree with that. it is a big part of why I have been saying for so long that we as a human race are devolving because there was so much we used to have to work for and now technology has made us lazy. Technology has already enslaved us.

It really has. But I like to believe that even if the entire world collapses one day (which I'm sure it will) that there will still be enough capable people around to keep the human species alive.

MovieLover12 08-12-2018 11:16 AM

How can the human species survive in a collapsed world?

Well there are people living in third world countries who have survived for hundreds of years without the modern convenience that we developed countries take for granted. I bet they could pull through and figure out a way to survive just like they do now.

MovieLover12 08-12-2018 12:49 PM

You'll want to look at that again, last time I checked Africa wasn't doing well at all. And Venezuela, well that's a different story.

Of course they're not doing well, but those people put up with a LOT more HELL than we do and they are still around aren't they?

If we lost all of our precious resources that keep us nice and comfy like electricity and fuel we wouldn't be able to stay alive the way they do. We would be completely destroyed because we could NOT live without it. End of story.

Oh and btw if you're trying to play Devil's Advocate with me all I gotta say is go screw yourself with a pitchfork. ::devil::

Morningriser 08-12-2018 01:49 PM

It all began with the bare minimum we're over thousands if not more years old but no matter where you choose to believe we came from, we started with nothing but our race adapt and evolves so often throughout human history civilizations have fallen will be no different but we persevere, we rebuild and learn from our mistakes and Hopefully that's the way it will always be.

MovieLover12 08-12-2018 01:50 PM

I wasn't trying to do anything but have a conversation. All you've gone and done now is attract the attention of others that'll be blaming me and not you for something that you did.

Yeah we humans are like roaches, you squish one with your shoe and suddenly 10 more come out from hiding to take it's place. And we like to invade and infest things too. Unfortunately we can't survive a nuclear blast or getting our heads cut off. ::big grin::

What the fuck is your deal? I told you I was going to drop out of the conversation with you all together because you weren't making any sense other than basically throwing a selfish pity party or something and now you're going to turn it around and say that I am making things about me because I was talking about an incident at a casino last night that scared the fuck out of people because they thought it was getting shot up? because if that's not at all what you're saying please tell me because I have no clue what the fuck you are even talking about and quite frankly it's getting pretty fucking annoying. I mean Are you seriously that desperate for attention that you feel the need to troll and interject yourself into everything and make it about you by saying I am making it about me? That's true north assisted Behavior if I've ever seen it.

But the thing that sets us apart from animals is individuality. The abilities we were born with and the things we are exposed to in life make us who we are and unfortunately being your own individual also means you have your own ideas and logic and morals which in your heart you believe to be completely set in stone and not everyone is going to believe as you do but there are some people who feel like everyone should believe as they do and all it does is cause conflict and despair because everyone wants to be right and everyone wants everyone to believe what they do because they believe it to be right. It's a clusterfuck no matter how you look at it.

Yeah I completely agree, what is right and wrong is what each individual person decides for themselves and unfortunately we all try to force each other to see things the way we see them. A lot of the problems in the world come from that, but empathy and compassion is the key to working together and that is kind of how civilizations get formed in the first place. At least that's what I think.

Exactly and as long as the human race exists, World Peace simply never can and if there ever was a time that it could it most definitely would not be now. as I said before, America will fall eventually, all great Empires do and then and it's wake something new will be built and it's wait while a new Empire emerges elsewhere in the world and the cycle starts all over again because that's all existence and everything in it is, a cycle. Up and down, push and pull, yin and yang. In the long run the positives and the negatives balance each other out and all we can do is be thankful we existed and got to experience the ride whether it be good or bad.

I know this sounds horrible but personally I can't wait for the American Empire to fall. I think ours is overrated to all hell and we haven't even accomplished things that were as great as what China, Egypt, Rome, and Britain did. Plus I get really sick of how ethnocentric we Americans tend to be.

I'm sorry but that's just how I really feel. I will be honest and admit that there isn't a patriotic bone in my whole body.

don't apologize for how you feel man. Believe me, there has been so many times I just wanted the entire universe just suddenly ceased to exist kind of like Thanos in Infinity War. But then I realized that having thoughts like that makes me know better than people like that and the people who have inspired the people who shoot up schools for movie theaters or anywhere else they feel like they can get the proper attention their mommies and daddies never did. I don't want our country to suddenly ceased to exist I just wanted to wake up and start giving a damn again because if people are seriously think we have acted like this throughout all of human history they are sadly mistaken because we would have never made it this far without mankind cooperating to some degree. I mean the entire world needs the universe's biggest cup of coffee dumped on it and told to wake the fuck up and stop being self-centered pieces of shit and show some compassion for their fellow man.

EDIT, damn I just realized 3 years later I finally hit my 1,000th post! let's celebrate by looking at a picture of my first-ever mimosa I had yesterday ::big grin::
