"The gravedancers" 7/10

Awesome evil-looking Demons, a weak story and some colorless actors obviously makes a pretty decent horror movie. All thanks to the creature-creators that is.

The last 10-15 minute seemed a little rushed though. Like they ran out of money and had to settle with 1st takes (Like the scene where the demon with the axe throws the guy over the chair. Come on, it was so obvious he threw himself over the chair, even a child would have noticed it, for crying out loud!!!)
Not to mention the car chase in the end. Those last 5 minutes were just ridiculous.

But i will recommend this movie just for the demons alone. Coz they were fucking .

Because I tell you, I bet his acting ability would earn him an oscar when compared to the actors in that film......that's the last movie I watched, last weekend. So bloody awful, I haven't been able to watch anything since. I'm traumatized.....:p

not a fair comparison.

sometimes boy band singers can actually go far in an acting career (Mark Wahlberg)
Justin Timberlake will not be one of them

Why not, they obviously woke up one morning and decided they wanted to be in a movie, and probably so did he. They sound as if they are reading from cue cards, at least he doesn't sound THAT bad. ;)

But really, I'm not sure, I haven't seen a film with him in it. I will make my call then. As far as Mark Wahlberg goes, I have never felt he was a very strong actor, though he has definitely had his moments for sure (Boogie Nights). I guess I just have to get past the disaster that was The Planet of the Apes remake.

Honestly, I thought Fred Durst did a pretty decent job in Population 436...I was pleasantly surprised (Although, I really wasn't expecting much)...I mean, he's not in a 'boy band'...But...Still...

Mr. Deeds- I forgot how hilarious a few parts of this are. It's definently worth a watch. Very, random... Interestingly funny movie.

7/10

+ Winona Ryder is awesome, as usual. Her best line of the film is when they go to the house, and the kid starts choking, and she says "Oh... he's choking.. we should go..." haha

Spider-Man 3. 07/10

This summer's biggest blockbuster yet? I doubt it.

Lots of fast-paced CGI action, 1-2 plotholes but ok script, decent direction and good performances.

I thought Maguire gives his best in this one, out of the 3. But out of all characters, James Franco (Harry Osborne) stands out as the best, and I thought Topher Grace as Eddie Brock did a great job. The little stint of Bruce Campbell in a cameo is one of the highlights of the movie. Thomas Haden Church, Kirsten Dunst et al are ok...not great or brilliant...but ok.

Overall, out of the 3, I think this was the best one yet (at least better than #2). Its just the right mix of CGI and emotions, and its one wild ride.
