I can't fade that kinda antipathy....

LuvablePsycho 04-30-2018 06:05 AM

I'm just saying that humans have always been rotten in one way or another. People always talk about how much nicer and better things were a long time ago but in truth they really weren't. If the world is supposed to end just because of selfish amoral people being everywhere then it should have ended a long LONG time ago.

Primative filthy animals with darkness in our souls is what we are ....
Try to increase consciousness.

How that old line go?..When there's no more room in hell the dead will walk the earth.

I wouldn't even call us animals. Animals don't destroy the planet at the rate we do. I like to think of us as the cancer cells of the Earth. ::danger::

Nope.

Also I'm excited because I ordered Day of the Dead: Collector's Edition and Children of the Corn from Walmart and they will be arriving for pick up in a few days. I'm hoping to order every one of my favorite DVDs eventually to add to my collection. :)

Morningriser 05-04-2018 10:54 AM

Infinity War surprised me. It was really good.

Welp tomorrow is moving day, or at least the start of a 2 day Greyhound trip. I am so excited!

LuvablePsycho 05-04-2018 11:25 AM

Good luck! :)

Morningriser 05-04-2018 12:22 PM

Yeah... I got to thinking that with all these annoying copyright laws on the internet lately I don't want to risk getting in any kind of legal trouble for using images or videos that ain't mine. Also I don't have the creativity to make anything cool-looking for myself. ::sad::

Edit: I just had another random thought. I'm thinking about giving up on video games. These download games are bull**** just like I originally suspected they would be. I will never again waste money on new video games or consoles.

Morningriser 05-19-2018 05:25 PM

Good Lord. I did that once back in the 70's. Never again! Have a safe trip. ::cool::

LuvablePsycho 05-20-2018 03:12 AM

Haha I never did drugs.::stick out tongue::

Sometimes I feel like I need them but nope.

Bloof 05-20-2018 04:33 AM

Me neither. I also smoked dope once and hated that. But i do drink wine.

Dead Bad Things 05-20-2018 05:17 AM

Stand your ground LuvPsy...

LuvablePsycho 05-20-2018 05:24 AM

I don't even drink alcohol or smoke tobacco. I used to be quite the sweet tea and soda drinker but I had to give that up once I found out that caffeine makes the symptoms of Bipolar Disorder even worse. ::sad::

Dead Bad Things 05-20-2018 05:35 AM

No alcohol, no drugs, no caffeine, no tobacco...dang! You should practice some Ayurveda.

Whether they actually rise from the grave, are caused by a virus outbreak, or radiation from space, zombies are the next evolutionary step for our species...

A flick I recently watched brought up some good social ramifications...The Cured (2017)

Was that any good? Got it in my list but other movies keep taking priority. Worth a watch?

LuvablePsycho 05-23-2018 03:40 PM

I think the idea of zombies rebuilding civilization after the humans are all dead is pretty silly. All corpses will rot away eventually and the zombies can't reproduce so it won't be much of a "civilization".

I think zombies are merely meant to destroy civilization and nothing more. Even if they have some memories and intelligence there's no hope of them rebuilding the world after humans and possibly animals are all gone.

idoneus1957 05-24-2018 07:20 AM

How about this gimmick?

I'm thinking about movies where the heroine hears scary noises from the basement, and, instead of sprinting out the front door, she goes down in the basement.

I guess I owe this posting to Dave Barry. In one of his recent book, he has a hilarious parody of the "Twilight" books, called "Fangs of Endearment."

In black comedies I see that sort of thing made fun of a lot because it's usually always a white girl. When a scary noise happens supposedly a black person would run out the front door instead of investigating it. ::big grin::

I read this article (http://www.iflscience.com/plants-and...h-in-montana-/) and the local wolf expert said it looks like a dog/wolf hybrid, which have already been identified in the past... that is to say it happens.

In fact, this story said the researchers collecting "canine remains" found 10% were dog/wolf hybrids.

I remember from watching a great documentary called "Dogs Decoded" that gene scientists established the domesticated dog is from the wolf (grey). That was the assumption for thousands of years, but theoretically dogs could have come from foxes or something else... as it wasn't confirmed until DNA analysists confirmed it was wolves -- that is man domesticated wolves over approximately 40,000 years, through selective breeding, to get today's dog.

By the way, Dogs Decoded has a lot more than just the gene thing.

LuvablePsycho 05-29-2018 07:46 AM

I wonder if dog/wolf hybrids are infertile like mules and ligers?

The article answers that too... it reads

"The truth is: dogs can actually breed with wolves. Dogs (Canis lupus familiaris) and wolves (Canis lupus) are interfertile, meaning the two can interbreed and produce offspring. ...10 percent of the animals had a recent relative that was not of their species and three percent were a first-generation hybrid."

Really they are not "Hybrids", the term is "hybrid" is used informally, that is, as slang. They are literaly the same species.

You were missed! ::embarrassment::

Dead Bad Things 06-04-2018 08:05 PM

::wink::

Zombies not in the sense of physical evolution but social evolution.

I mean as a species we're not gonna achieve enough consciousness to save our home planet from destruction or stop committing social and cultural atrocities.

Any y'all seen the latest National Geographic? truly horrifying.

Bloof 06-05-2018 01:48 PM

Was it a particular story, DBT?

Dead Bad Things 06-05-2018 06:28 PM

I'm currently on vacation in Atlanta with my family and I got to see some awesome places. I hate my hometown in Georgia but Atlanta is a really awesome city. Hell, it's even better than where I live now! I wish we could live closer to Atlanta, and I really needed a break after all the crap that happened with my house getting broken into and robbed

We also got to visit the mountains in Tennessee and they were gorgeous! :)

Dead Bad Things 06-06-2018 05:10 AM

Been to any local haunts? See any hillbillys? Had any shine? See any critters? Those are some old mountains...
