So far i'm not liking the changes they've made especially to Julia, Junior and Barbie. Junior is supposed to be borderline psychotic and here they made him doe-eyed and doofy. I liked in the book how Barbie was a member of the town, people knew him, he worked at the diner. Here he's a mysterious stranger who may have killed someone. I'm not one for heroes mostly but Barbie was one of my favorite King protagonists along with Stuttering Bill in IT and Stuart Redman in The Stand. I hope they don't ruin his character. I'm gonna try and stop comparing the show to the book and just try and enjoy it because it is a well made and entertaining show so far.

This is where I have an advantage (disadvantage, maybe?) over you: I've never read the book.

It's probably an advantage, you won't be endlessly comparing like me and if you do decide to read the book (Which you should) nothing will really be ruined for you especially since i read that they're changing the ending

To be honest, I'll probably not get around to it for a long time. I have so many books to read right now, I feel like I'll never get caught up.

Watched Rizzoli & Isles last night.

I agree! I had trouble convincing my husband that Barbie was a good guy and Junior was a bad guy. And where's the Corgi? I'm with you--it is entertaining though.

Hopefully as it goes on the changes won't bother me so much.

One called "Ray Donovan", a pilot...not sure if it's been aired or not.
I recognised a few people, most notably the lead Liev Schreiber, and John Voight.
Seems pretty solid, I look forward to seeing more.

The latest two episodes of the US series of "Wilfred", which I have to say I'm finding considerably less entertaining this season. It's still "ok" but it seems to be leaning a lot further into stupid.

"Rookie Blue", episode 3 of the current season.
Episode 1 was pretty good, 2 was completely forgettable, this one was ok.
It's still a fairly solid show if you're into cop dramas I suppose, though it could do with a little more grit.
It's not a bad fill-in for Southland-less times.

I see Charlotte Rampling bringing the last season of everybody's favorite serial killer to great heights......season 4 heights....with John Lithgow.

I saw Dexter too.
Interesting though it's dancing on pretty far fetched at the moment...I can see why they're wrapping it up. Was not big on the last season at all.
Though yes I'm very interested in seeing how everything will wrap up.

Already liking this season more then the last. I'm loving watching Dexter crack up and lose it. Him self destructing is a good path to go for the final season.

Man this show is moving fast. I'm one episode behind and I'm about to watch it. The show is really good. It's already approved for another season too.
