I love Bruce Campbell, but I have yet to see Bubba Ho-Tep. I just moveed it to the top of my queue. I remember I didn't enjjoy Beyond Re-animator as much as the original. I did really enjoy the new Dawn of the Dead. You don't usually find the quality of the actors in horror movies that you had in Dawn, Sarah Polly, Ving Rhames, Mekhi Phiffer, and Jake Weber(the guy from Medium) are all great actors.

My vote goes to Dawn of the Dead.

Dawn leads with 3, Bubba has 2 and Beyond Reanimator is getting shut out.

Need more votes...

Good match.

I havent seen either of the Re-Animator sequels, but the other two competitors are great.

Dawn is one of my favourite remakes. Alot different than the original, but very good on it's own merrits. Almost as good as the '78 version IMO, alot of fun.

Bubba Ho-Tep on the other hand has to be one of the most original movies ever made. Absolutly hilarious from beginning to end, but it still leaves plenty of room for horror. Quite possibly Bruce's best post-Ash role.

I think in the end, Bubba gets my vote for sheer originality. Both are really fun movies, but just being a remake loses points for Dawn.
