I don't think I was in the right frame of mind when I watched this, maybe watch it again sometime soon. It wasn't anywhere near as clever as the Japanese films it tried to emulate

last film I watched was Guinea Pig 2: Flower of Flesh and Blood, last night. It was the inaugural test screening of the new and improved film society I just took over.

the film was OK. I'd had it for a couple of years, but was too much of a scaredy-cat to watch it until... well it just felt right... the sound fx and the wacky lighting and camera angles rather detracted from the solid groundwork established in the stalking and abduction sequences, I felt... and it only really made me feel sick when the maggots and worms started squirming around all over the place
