"Kraken - tentacles....." 6/10

I really donīt understand why Roderick is so ashamed of his movies??

Except for the last 15 minutes i found Kraken to be a pretty decent horror flick only suffering from the rather poor squid-attack scenes. The squid swimming looked cool though.

Now, i havenīt seen "Gryphon" yet, but what "Kraken" and "mammoth" have had in common is above average (Iīm tempted to say good) acting.

Oh, and iīm sure the line "Iīm gonna need a bigger boat", in the beginning of Kraken, was Rodīs idea. ;)

This Film is Not Yet Rated
Great expose of a closed system and a fun film. It was so disruptive to the MPAA that they have recently moved toward greater transparency.

Oh - and I live one block from the MPAA building - wierd seeing your neighborhood documented so heavily.

Eat Drink Man Woman.
I really liked this movie, it was moving and entertaining, and I loved the twists in it. Not my typical kind of movie, but a good one all the same.

"Lady in the water" 5/10

Tsk, tsk, tsk....... Yet another fucked up movie from Sir Shyamalan.

Would like to see him make a movie without a single twist in it. Just see him do SOMETHING else.

saw it blind - we were supposed to see something else but it was sold out - saw this one instead.

big pleasant suprise..

I guess I was disappointed because Billy gave it this big buildup how freakin' hilarious it was, and I didn't think it was funny at all.
