Flea markets are awesome. Sure there's a lot of shit but you can usually walk away with something cool for dirt cheap.

rat fink was popular when i was a little kid ...
i still remember getting a rat fink ring out of a bubblegum machine at playland park.

he was a little plastic rat fink standing on the base of the ring - and he was removeable .. which meant i lost him almost immediately

newb 09-03-2008 09:12 AM

I had a couple of ED "Big Daddy" ROTH models as a kid. Wish I held on to them:mad:

The_Return 09-03-2008 09:26 AM

- The Shawshank Redemption (2-Disc)
- Boogie Nights (2-Disc)

- "All-Star Superman" by Grant Morrison + Frank Quietly.

I'm not a fan of Superman at all, but I like Morrison and this is supposedly a pretty good take on the character...so who knows.

That's kinda a weird triple feature. Does the Tales From The Darkside have any decent special features? There's only a bare bones deal over here with the trailer and thats about it. Graveyard Shift and April Fool's Day were the same deal so I just stuck with my tapes for the meantime.

Mountaintop Motel Massacre is the kinda shit I always look out for. Have to check the shelves here.

Living Death any good? I like to see some of the 90s actors/actresses come back out of the woodwork. Good to see the OG Buffy in action again, really need to grab that flick again its kinda lost after the TV series got big... I like it a lot more that show took itself way to seriously.

although each of the 3 movies were on seperate DVDs, i dont think there were any special features.
But they were all widescreen, and cheap as hell - so it was a good deal.

havent watched Living Death yet - but the reason i did buy it was for Kristy Swanson.

and yeah - the origional Buffy was a great film ... i cant bear the series.

dont know yet - sort of a 'reinvention' rather than a remake from what i can see.

i like the talent involved..

last purchased ... Heroes Season 2 - they're practically giving this one away.

Oh the one with Ving Rhames. It's just called Day Of The Dead over here. It wasn't to bad a watch from what I remember. If they had've given it a different title it would've had a better reception.

I remember being disappointed with it when I watched it as a kid but its really grown on me over the years. Great cover artwork, over the top characters and a violent paper thin plot = kickass to me :)
There's just something more relaxing watching a movie that doesn't take itself to seriously.

Probably why I'm one of the few people that fuckin' loved Hell Ride.
