I'm not even sold on the whole hi-def thing. I don't need to see movie quality that's better then my eyesight. So, yeah, I like watching horror flicks with scratches and imperfections on them. I love that grittiness it gives the film and VHS is a prime example of doing so.

i understand the appeal of grain - but i also appreciate seeing a movie without tracking problems and actually being able to see what the hell is going on when someone's being chased through the woods with an axe - or in a dark dorm hallway.

I have over 1,000 movies on VHS, and I'm scared to even try playing the things. I don't want to know which ones do and don't work.

I am slowly getting round to updating my horror collection to dvd but its an ardious task.

I have both uncut versions of those films but they are cut on region 2
