I think you'll enjoy it, there is one part in there that you will laugh if you hate remakes :D

I havent been impressed until I watched John Carpenter's Pro Life. I thought it was pretty good, nice and gory as well.

Family was the best for me, so-far. A lot of you dig John Carpenter's work, and I agree it's above-standard quality-wise... I don't exactly enjoy his episodes. I guess the material doesn't interest me. Pro-life was so-so; interesting concept. I missed the ending so I won't give it a rating for anything. So far I've seen...

The Damned Thing C
Family A-
The V Word B
Pro-Life ??? (Probably a B)

You're 100% right. I can only count a handful of episodes that are actually worth watching again. Most of them start out as good ideas but go downhill fast. I think these directors are either real spoiled being used to having bigger budgets and special effects or the writers and producers of the series are really restricting how far they can go. These are supposed to be the best directors of the genre but Im not seeing it.

"Jenifer" was pretty creepy but the storyline was terrible. It was like they left out alot of parts that would explain what was going on.

"Cigarette Burns" and "Fair-Haired Child" were winners. Some of the very few.

"Sick Girl" was silly but it had Misty and Angela, so I had to give it points for starring my babygirls, Spiderbabe and May.

Despite all the criticism the show's gotten, you'd think they'd do a better job with the second season but it looks like bad business as usual. The only one I've even remotely liked is "The V Word" for creepiness and that still sucked overall.

It was a shocking episode with some gore. I wouldn't want that man in the episode to be my father though. A pretty good effort from John Carpenter.

Right to Die is a great episode IMO. Theres some Hellraiser elements in it.

Masters of horror is hit & miss. Ya think the MASTERS of horror, would come up with excellent stuff all the time. This season, I liked the deaths in prety much all of them. The one's that I thought were alright ( sorry can't recall the titles) were the one with the guy that posesed supernatural powers, The one with a chick that was pregnat with a demon child, (I think I scarred my kid for life with that 1. He kept holding his stomach. I thought since he was playing he wouldn't notice)loved the 1 with Meatloaf, the one where the chick's all burned was good. The one where a virus affects men to kill women was kinda lame imo. & I've yet to see the other 2.

Ok watched "we scream for Ice Cream" last night. That was almost laughable.
