Dead and Buried (1981) (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0082242/)

Somehow, I had never seen this one before. It wasn't bad and had better acting that most horror of this era. It is kind of a different take on the zombie genre from most recent films.

Scorsese's best. Nicholson was beyond perfect. I expected much less from Dicaprio, but he was damn good. I also see a good future for Mark Wahlberg.

perfrect plot, great violence and scorsese style dark comedy.

Better than Goodfellas!? Impossible, I say!

Oh, and I watched Dead and Buried last night too. Much better than I had expected.

Thank You for Smoking

This was a pretty wity, funny dark comedy. I was entertained pretty much from start to finish. It's definately adult oriented, but as long as you are an adult with a sense of humor, you will probably think it's pretty good.

Click

What has happened to Adam Sandler? This movie was so scripted and contrived that it just made me want to 'click' it off. There was a few funny jokes here and there but on the whole, this movie sucked. It's about a dozen other movie melded together in to one unfunny script. Christopher Walken is the bright spot, but even he isn't as bright of a spot as he usually is.

Christine

This is a pretty good John Carpener film based on a Stephen King novel, but I just have a little bit of an issue with a car being scary. Sort of seems like a stupid villain. Acting is good, gore is fairly minimal, the direction seems weird. Like motion camera was still in it's experimental phase when this was made because this film had a lot of shaky camerawork. It's a little slow moving, but overall it's entertaining.

V For Vendetta
I liked it but I really feel it's garned more praise than it deserves. The plot really wasn't fleshed out enough for me to feel that sympathetic for V. Good movie, I'd say 7 out of 10, I really enjoyed it. I just wished it was either a half hour or so shorter or had more to it.

Unfortunately, The Grudge 2. Really poor.

Clownhouse.

For some odd reason I couldnt enjoy the movie normally as I enjoy slashers. Maybe the overdose of slashers recently has me saturated or something. I oughta need a break from watching em and go back to watching some other genre for awhile. Still, a pretty decent watch.
