just got back from my consultation, which did the opposite of what some posters here thought it would do. Instead of deterring or outright denying, it eliminated the 2 lingering concerns I had, cost and reversal issues. The insurance "should cover all of it" (so sayeth Dr. Adkins), and "even if the reversal doesn't work, there are other ways of having kids. Your testicles will still work." So I don't think he was referring to adoption or having some guy bang my wife. Now all I need to do is schedule the actual clipping (which they were actually totally prepaired to do there, but I had to get home and see what the schedule for other peoples stuff was).
