Amityville: The Awakening was pushed back to next January because -- wait for it -- money!

And rewrites. Lots and lots of rewrites.

This particular delay that they announced today was because they thought it would make more money if it was released in January. I can understand rewrites but this pisses me off.

Life is short. Sometimes shorter than we think it's going to be. Tell your loved ones that you love them. Hug them. Tell your friends that you care about them.

Met Matthew Lillard and Abe Benrubi at MM. Lillard was VERY nice and took the time to chat with every one. I had him sign a pic from 13 Ghosts. He said "You don't seem like the type of person to like this movie." Told him I love 13 Ghosts. He said "You do not!". Very funny and gracious.

Abe Benrubi (Buffy, Twister, ER), was also very nice. Wanted to pose for 2 pictures.

Sounds like a blast!! I was wishing all weekend that I could be there for the fun. I've always heard that Lillard was a total sweetheart. Nice to know that it's true. I'm battling feelings of jealousy over that signed poster. I love that damn movie!

Glad you had such a good time, Hammer. I'll look for more pics from you. And hey, did you get a new etched monster glass?
