i realize that i'd be off topic to post something on topic at this point .. but i have a friend who's living this exact nightmare.

He not only can't get his wife to go see horror movies (or anything else she doesnt like) but she wont let him get away from her long enough to go with a buddy.

But she drags him to every piece of garbage she wants to see and he goes willingly.

What a one sided relationship that is.

I dont even get to see the guy anymore ... she doesnt want him exposed to married people who have their shit together or he might get some misguided ides of personal independance.

Got married and never saw him again. He wouldn't even go to his own bachelor party. He had four kids and then his wife got sick of him and threw him out.:)
