People always seem to mistake 90s flicks for 80s ones.

The impossible

I need help with the name of a movie I cant really remember anything about. I saw it on the creature feature on kbsi (fox 23) about 1989 or 90 but its a 70's movie I think. Its a supernatural ghost haunted house type flick, in color. The only thing I really remember is a family staying at a mansion, dont remember if they bought it or on vacation or why they were there but the gramdma was with them and she was psychic or something. Anyway the only scene I remember, the family is out back and there is an old empty in ground pool, the dad gets the old pool pump working to fill it and while he's doing that the grandma or daughter sees an old lady in the attic window. They all get spooked and go to the attic to see whats up there and there might have been a scene where the grandma is in a rocking chair in a trance or something like that. Thats all I remember. Dont even know if what I remember is accurate but I remember it was one of the few films that made the hair on the back of your neck stand up.

Props to anyone that can get this one.

The whole movie was kinda slow as I remember, Just had an erie feel that something evil was always there but dont really remember seeing any ghosts or blood and gore. Family was mom, dad, grandma, daughter and son or two daughters and I think a dog.

Trying to find a movie. Please help!

I saw a part of this movie about 5 years ago. I could have confused the plot or filled in the mising pieces subconciously so bare with me.

It may be a feature film (i'm pretty sure it is) but it could have also been a short on a compilation featuring new asian horror directors. I don't remember if it was Korean or Japanese or whatever but I think it was Japanese.

The story was about a young woman, early twenties, who found out that she was pregnant. This was unplanned and maybe her boyfriend had left her. I can't remember but the character didn't have anyone and was very lonely. She was not joyful about the pregnancy.

If I remember correctly she was seeing ghosts, you know the obvious creepy people with big eyes and hair in their face. I don't remember if there were multiple ghosts because I can only picture one ghost who was also a young woman. The scene I remember specifically - the woman was standing on a crowded subway platform and the ghost appeared behind her. I also vaguely remember her seeing a ghost at a doctor's appointment.

The gist of the story was that the woman believed that the ghosts were out to kill her baby but in fact they were souls that were following her because they were waiting to be reborn.

I have been trying to track down this movie forever. Please help!
