- A climatic scene was shot on Halloween night

- Hero of the film says less than 30 words throughout the movie.

- Features a multiple Oscar winning film from the early 50's

_____V_____ 10-27-2006 02:11 AM

Phenomena?

Not even close.

- This is the 2nd of 3 films featuring the hero, and he's been played by a different actor every time.

Halfway house made me think, and Jarvis' character was actually played by 3 diff people in the 3 movies.:)

Here we go :-

- This movie was originally recorded in mono sound. At its home video release some 15 years later, a main part of the movie was redubbed in stereo.

- In one of the scenes in this movie, an object worn on the main character's coat is similar to what Nazis made homosexuals wear.

- The set builders of this movie forgot to put an extra door in the lab set, thus a main character had to crash through the wall for his entrance in this movie.

More clues when you ask for em...guess the movie?

tic 10-27-2006 10:08 AM

I know what the object is but as far the other clues ..... nope, haven't a scooby (short for scooby-doo, rhyming term for clue in these here parts) Excuse my ignorance if you already new that :D

_____V_____ 10-28-2006 05:28 AM

think about the object, then.

Maybe you ll stumble across the correct answer. :D

stygianwitch 10-28-2006 08:47 AM

Nope.... can i have another clue please :D

- The lead actress caught pneumonia after a pool scene was shot on her during the filming of this movie.

The_Return 10-28-2006 10:30 AM

Ed Wood's Bride of the Monster?

tic 10-28-2006 10:36 AM

Bermuda Triangle ?

_____V_____ 10-28-2006 10:44 AM

nope and nope.

This seems like tougher than I expected, though I thought the Nazi clue would give it away.

Want another?

tic 10-28-2006 10:48 AM

That would be a yes.

I know the symbol, but I cant think of a movie with it.

My guess was based on the door clue...

hmm...nice try bro. Ok here's another...

- The movie's main set was also used for numerous Hammer movies made at an adjacent studio.

The_Return 10-28-2006 06:57 PM

Ive never actually seen that movie other than the 10 minutes or so that I watched last night. Might have to check it out though, it seemed pretty cool + Ive heared great things about it...

I'll post a new one in a sec. Need some time to think up a good one...

The_Return 10-29-2006 11:19 AM

- Non-horror

- Film debut of an actor who became best known for his starring roles on two long-running television shows.

- "I'm gonna be the power behind the president - and you'll be the power behind me!"

More when you want 'em

Roderick Usher 10-29-2006 02:52 PM

Now THAT'S an easy one

A Face in the Crowd

It was the quote that really gave it away, wasnt it?

I couldnt think of a third clue...I was worried that might make it too obvious. Oh well, you're up:) .

BTW - Isnt Face in the Crowd an amazing movie? Ive been meaning to watch it again, LOVED it the first time around.

Roderick Usher 10-29-2006 09:40 PM

Thats alrite Rod bro. Me or Vamp can go again, if nobody objects.

Roderick Usher 10-30-2006 11:03 AM

Did bigloader get booted? I missed it.

oh well, here goes

In an underwater scene the lead actor's rubber suit accidentally inflated, dislocating his hip

the original 92 minute running time was cut to a brisk 75 min

many consider one actor's performance in this film to be the origin of high camp

Miss Olivia 10-30-2006 09:03 PM

Ummm......Creature from the Black Lagoon?
Or Leviathan?

Roderick Usher 10-31-2006 07:06 AM

nope and nope

Roderick Usher 11-01-2006 10:19 AM

need another clue?

it's the 2nd of three times the lead played his role on film

Roderick Usher 11-04-2006 10:07 PM

I thought this was another easy one.

urgeok 11-06-2006 06:38 AM

if it isnt the creature from the black lagoon .. and it certainly isnt james bond ... i cant think of any other character that has a repeat roll .. and an underwater scene ..

Roderick Usher 11-06-2006 08:10 AM

This movie had two starring monsters

one creature design appeared in 5 films, the other appeared only once in this particular creature design

tic 11-06-2006 08:32 AM

It's not a Godzilla film is it?

Roderick Usher 11-06-2006 12:55 PM

Nope and Nope

all right the really easy clues

This sequal was written and Directed by the same man who wrote and directed the original.

The HISS of one of the lead monsters was the actor's take on the sound an angry swan makes

The_Return 11-06-2006 01:29 PM
