Who recommended the Dr.? Did you research him or her very well?
I hope it goes well for you! |
I should hope the doc is good, he or she (female doctor listed on the site I went to, male doctor mentioned on the phone) is the only doctor close by that performs vasectomies.

Maybe you'll get the famous Russian specialist...DR. Cutchacockoff....I hear he's very good.

Wow I must say thats very responsible of you. Most guys that dont want kids just use the whole if it happens I'll just dissapear for a while form of birth control. It really is a simple procedure, and like other people said if you do change your mind it can be reversed. So yeah for mature desicions!

If you meet a girl you just want to have sex with, she will never believe you have had a vasectomy (certificate or not) so you will still have to use protection (plus, this kind of mutilation does not prevent against sexual diseases).
If you meet a girl you might want to spend the rest of your life with, there is a very high chance she will want to have children at some point. There is also a very high chance you will change your mind - and many many people do - about not wanting children when you get older, or that a lady previously nonplussed about kids gets broody and changes her mind when she gets older. So a reversal it is then. Best of luck. |

oh, and going by previously posted statistics, the odds of the vasectomy failing are approx. .000000213, depending on your definition of "sexually active", whereas condoms have a failure rate of approx. .02 to .15
